On a delightful November evening, our little Kahinee made her entrance into the world. Bursting with health and happiness, she’s gearing up to celebrate her 6-month milestone this May, when she’ll embark on the exciting journey into the world of solid foods. Nurtured by a loving family, Kahinee enjoys the comforts of good nutrition, quality education, safety, and respect. Yet, she is aware that not every child is as fortunate. Through the Asha Foundation, she wishes to share a little bit of her joy with less fortunate kids. Please consider donating to help make a difference.

Welcome to Paint in the Park event page of AshaSV. We are organizing painting sessions in parks all over bay area, to engage and build community – through a therapeutic and mindfulness painting experience. We will provide art supplies for the event, but we welcome if you bring yours. Through this community event we are fundraising for causes supported by Asha for Education – a global volunteer run non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and support to children in need in India. On April 1, 2023, I will be performing at my Bharatanatyam Arangetram. I am looking forward to having you all there with me on this special occasion.

I also acknowledge that being able to have an Arangetram event is a privilege. I am very thankful for my dance training and the overall gifts of life that I have had access to for the last 17 years. For that reason, instead of blessing me with gifts on my special day, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please donate to the Asha for Education – Danbury Chapter. Over the years, I have volunteered with this organization and visited Ashray Akruti, a school they support for underprivileged children with hearing disabilities. Learning Bharatanatyam has allowed me to connect with my Indian culture, and I want to give back to the youth of India by increasing their access to the blessings of education. Please join me in making the futures of these children a little bit brighter and my Arangetram even more special.

We are going to celebrate the International Disability Day on 3rd December 2022 by organising sports programme and cultural programme. Specially abled children will take part in the events.

Education for the underprivileged section of the society is a real issue. We firmly believe that without any discrimination on the grounds of color, creed, caste, sex. Everyone should have equal rights to education.
